Scotland's Far North consists of the counties of Sutherland and Caithness.  It is a vast, empty landscape, although this was not always so.  The huge vistas and big skies can be disorientating.  Sometimes a building or geographical feature can act as an anchor, helping one to feel grounded in this uncompromising place.
In this project I have positioned such features in the centre of a wide panorama, seeking to emphasise the space around them.
It is a work in progress.
